Invite New Money Opportunities in the New Year : Vastu Tip

Vastu Acharya Manoj wishes all his readers a very happy and prosperous new year.

New Year comes with a promise of new opportunities to earn and grow. I suggest placing a money plant in blue bottle to attract more clients and more opportunities to all my patrons and readers.

Stand at the center of the house with a compass and determine the north direction. Take a blue bottle made of glass and put a stem of money plant in it. Pour some water. Place this on a table or stool in North direction.

See the opportunities flowing in. Happy New Year!!

Effect of North East Toilet on Business: Vastu Case Study:

This American company has its office in 4 floors of a business center in Gurgaon. The problem was that they have been struggling for the last 4 years to make inroads into Indian market. They are into general insurance and though their competitors were all clocking a double digit growth this company was able to get mere one and a half percent of Indian mark
et in four years.

Their Admin head was known to me and wanted me to help. On a non-working day he arranged for my visit and I went and measured the directions and saw where various activities were performed.

The office was a irregular shaped multi-storied building leased by this company to make it their corporate headquarters. Except for one very difficult vastu defect the building dis not have major imbalances.

The problem was the toilet block and pantry. On each floor they were in the North East zone. I concluded that this is the reason why the company is not able to succeed and increase its presence.

On my query the Admin Head verified that they have not been able to work on a consistent strategy in the last four years. Every year, they have to change their strategy mid-way because none of the strategies they made fructified into any results.

A toilet in north-east in an office, drains clarity of mind and vision. The business owners are unable to think clearly and whatever strategy they make, is full of confusion and self-doubt. They are unable to execute the strategy more due to the flawed strategy than their execution capability.
I advised them to change their corporate office by shifting to another building.

Vastu Consultation is like a Doctor’s consultation

Imagine going to a doctor and saying, “Please check if all is well. I want to know if my body is perfect.”

Just reading this makes you laugh. Isn’t it? Or would you argue that that’s what we do when we go for annual health check-up.

True, but what happens rarely in medical consultation (there are few individuals who go for annual health check -ups), happens frequently in vastu consultation. Most people go for vastu consultation with an aim to comply with vastu rather than to solve a problem. No wonder they do not get any result but just a mental satisfaction that their home is vastu compliant.

They go for a vastu consultation because their friends or relatives have told that the house should be in accordance with vastu.

Let me tell you that there is nothing like a perfect vastu just like there is nothing like a perfect body.
What is possible is to make your home conducive to your goals or resolution of your problems. So if you have aspirations to increase your income, promotion in job, child birth, etc. or if you have problems like disharmony, frequent accidents, unknown fears, diseases, etc. then go for a vastu consultation.

A good vastu expert will suggest you ways to balance the imperfections which are responsible for your problem or are holding you from fulfilling your desires.

So just like in a doctor consultation state your problems and desires in front of a vastu consultant

Case Study: Vastu Defect in North East: Effect on Residents

After my last post in this blog, I got a lot of queries over phone and WhatsApp asking whether North East effects are always so serious. I said, “No. It depends on the type of Vastu Defect.”

While Toilet Seat or a Kitchen stove in North East are the most severe vastu defects, there can be other defects which effect mental and physical health of the residents.

A friend of my visiting my office one day and said, “For some reason my daughter is suffering from headaches. The doctors have got the MRI done and have not been able to diagnose the cause of her pain. The MRI report is normal.”

When there are unexplained problems they can be due to vastu.

I asked him, “Is there a pink color painted in North East wall and few nails there?”

“My whole house is painted pink as our daughter likes that color. Since my wife is a painter we have several paintings put over nails. But I do not think there are nails in North-East.”

I knew that he has no idea  as to where the sun rises from so I asked him to locate the North-East with a compass and let me know if finds nails there.

Next day he was again sitting across the table saying that my observations were correct.

I asked him to remove the nails and her headaches will vanish. Few days later he informed that indeed they have vanished.

A vastu defect in the North-east invariably effects the mental or physical health of the inhabitants.

Case Study: Ignoring a Vastu Advice

I came to know that my college senior Dhanpat suffered a brain hemorrhage and is recuperating at his home. Needless to say I visiting his home on a weekend. At that time I had just completed my Mahavastu certification and wondered if this problem is something to do with Vastu.

My friend was earlier staying in a builder flat in Sushant Lok II and as his income increased moved to a luxury apartment in Sector 56 Gurgaon. Within six months of this move he suffered from brain hemorrhage. When I saw him he was very weak and had lost quite some weight.

I explained him the principles of Vastu and measured directions. I found that one of the toilets in his flat is exactly in the North-East. Now North-East of any space is represented by the brain of the Vastu Purush and a toilet there is considered to be one of the most severe vastu defects.

I immediately asked him to stop using the toilet. This toilet was attached to the guest room and since his parents were visiting them due to his illness he expressed inability to take it out of operations.
Few months later he had one more stroke and again my suggestion was to close the toilet despite the inconvenience.

About a year later it recurred and I had to beg him to lock that toilet. This time he did and by God’s grace he did not have another stroke in the last 36 months.

I keep wondering why he ignored my advice for so long.

MahaVastu: An Innovation in accordance with Sankhya Darshan

Sankhya Darshan

According to the Hindu Model of Universe, the Universe consists of two eternal realities; Purusha (soul) and Prakriti (nature). While Purusha is unchangeable (amongst its many other properties), the Prakriti is dynamic and variable (amongst its many other properties).

Any creation or transformation happens with the amalgamation or merger of Purush and Prakriti. This process of unification of two entities is aided by three of the Prakriti’s components; tamas (ignorance, darkness), rajas (action, expansiveness) and sattva (result, benefit, goodness)

When Purusha and Prakriti unite one of the four occur; creation, invention, innovation or evolution.

The Modern Concept of Innovation

If we consider a subject to be having a universe of its own (which we call domain in modern lingo), it should have two components Purush (the fixed part) and Prakriti (the variable part). The fixed part is what cannot be changed. This is like axioms, principles and theories of a subject. This fixed part defines a subject. If you remove them the subject loses its identity. In mathematics, 2+2=4 is an axiom and can never be changed. Similarly rules for addition, multiplication, division, etc. constitute the fixed part.

The variable part of the subject allows new innovations. For example, in mathematics, the decimal system is the variable part and we all know what resulted when decimal system was replaced by Boolean or binary system. All the fruits of computerization have become a reality today because of this variability.

A subject, a religion, a concept or system which is 100% inflexible and does not allow any flexibility does not evolve and over a period of time becomes obsolete and irrelevant while one which allows 100% flexibility loses its identity over time.

For innovations to happen the trick is to identify what is constant and fixed and what is variable and dynamic in a domain. The three components of Prakriti namely tamas, rajas and sattva help in finding the same. Tamas is the realization of ignorance and need for change, rajas with its passion and activity (hypothesis, ideation, implementation, experimentation and measurement) helps in creating a new state which is beneficial and for the good.

Let us take the example of Vastu to understand this further.

The Vishwakarma Prakash defines the tenets of Vastu. Vishwakarma Prakash dictates 16 directions to be utilized for different activities.

The need was to apply the concepts in modern context when the architecture has changed from the ancient times. When the Vastu Experts of modern times realized that today’s houses are neither built on square plots nor have sixteen rooms, so they changed the 16 zones (defined in ancient texts) to 8 zones (3x3 grid with 8 directions) to create what we call traditional vastu method. It is a beautiful example of not being able to identify the fixed and variable parts correctly. What resulted is a method which at-best gives the client a “good-to-have” feeling - A feeling that their house is vastu compliant, even if its benefits are not properly realized.

The evolution of MahaVastu happened in a completely different manner. Dr. Khushdeep Bansal realized that the 16 zones form part of the fixed part and created this concept of angular division which is different than the square and grid method (variable part). This accurate identification of the two parts created a system which is scientific and yields results for the clients.

I know of few Vastu experts who completely discarded the ancient texts and concept of 16 zones by declaring it to be irrelevant. In the context of this article they have completely removed the fixed part and created a new system out of absolute variability. They call themselves as vastu consultants but in fact they are no more than a geopaths
