What can be done with Vastu Consultation || Part 1

Many people ask me what they can achieve with a Vastu consultation or in other words how do I perform Vastu consultation?

I focus on three aspects when suggesting vastu corrections of a premises; residential, office or factory.
  1.  Enable the space to help the inhabitants. Here I suggest remedies which balances the vastu defect and yes you do not have to demolish anything to balance the vastu defects. I also ensure that the energies of the space are positive and dynamic.
  2.  Emotional healing, I have found that many clients do not realize their full potential because of their thought patterns. When we program the space using Vastu, their sub-conscious start helping them take the right decisions when life presents them with its ups and downs.
  3. Enable Growth  Many times help and support from beneficial planets switches on the circuits of life when one can achieve growth or accomplish an objective in life. This can be an expansion in business, promotion in job, harmony in family, benefits from medicines, etc.

As I have written earlier, I do not believe in doing Vastu for sake of doing it. Vastu consultation should have a measurable benefit in the mind of the client. Once he achieves it he knows it is the fruit of good Vastu.

Transform your Signature...Transform your Life

I have been off from this blog for more than three months. As many of you know I was busy in publishing and promoting my book “The Key:Discover the key to wealth creation and financial freedom”.

Well here I am after becoming a best-selling author back to sharing my experiences with my well-wishers and friends.

During the book launch event I met an old friend who literally transformed his life just by a small change in signature.

This friend met me in 2013 asking me what should he do to progress in career. He was an engineer then. I asked him to sign on a piece of paper. His used to cut his name when signing (See an example in the image attached with this post). Generally, those who do that undo their own work making it difficult for them to finish a project or plan execution.

I suggested him to practice new signatures, add his surname in the signatures and then incorporate the change in all official documents, bank accounts, passport, etc. Thankfully he meticulously did all that I suggested and got remarkable results.

He now is a consultant with one of the foremost organizations in the world and that too in a short span of two years.

Signature is a reflection of inner mind and a change in signature results in a change in the sub-conscious.

Kitchen Stove and Kitchen sink should not be together || Vastu Myth

There are several myths when we talk about Vastu. While they do not have any relationship with Vastu they have become prevalent because someone who first thought of it, created a logical explanation and wrote in a book. We all want free and easy knowledge and so many people follow it blindly without bothering whether it is vastu or feng shui or a figment of someone’s imagination.

In this post I will write about one very prevalent myth.

One of the myths in Vastu is that kitchen sink and kitchen stove should not be together especially when it is a one-wall kitchen. The logic given is that fire and water are together so it is not advisable. Several tools are designed by marketers to nullify the effect even when there is no effect.

First Kitchen sink is not water but an activity of disposal and cleaning. Even here we are not disposing the waste from our kitchen but just cleaning the utensils. The leftover food is often thrown in the dust-bin. So kitchen sink is just a place where cleaning is performed and is not even a place of disposal.

Thousands of case studies by Mahavastu experts under the leadership of Vastu Shastri Khushdeep Bansal have concluded that location of kitchen sink does not have any impact on the Vastu of the place. In a Kitchen the location of the kitchen stove, dustbin and refrigerator are on relevant as per Mahavastu.

So do not fret if your kitchen is such that the two are together. Look for real problems which you are facing and life and ask a Vastu expert to solve them. That is the only benefit of vastu – resolution of your life problems all else is superstition.

The illusive assignment || Vastu Case Study

A classmate of mine met me in April this year. He was stuck. A large corporate assignment was not materializing for many months. I suggested him to get vastu done for his apartment, but he was keener in consulting my wife on Vedic Astrology. I was avoiding him because in my mind I knew he will not get results unless the energies are corrected. This was because I realized he is absent-minded when we were interacting.

One day when I returned from office I found him sitting consulting my wife with a pen and paper in his hand. During dinner we were discussing and I asked him what exactly his problem with consultation is. He said, “They are not deciding and have kept all those who quoted hanging for the last 4 months. Everytime I talk to them they say, I am on top of their mind but it will take some time.” I asked, “So mean you are without work these days?” “No, I am doing some small consultancy works for this corporate but I am desperate for this contract because if I get this I will not have to worry for 5 years and Khane-pani ka jugaad ho jayega.” He also revealed that as per his thoughts his luck is preventing this from happening and hence he is keener in astrology than Vastu.

I knew his main door falls in North at the place of Mukhya Devta. I asked him to put a green landcape at this place with the following mantra

सर्वबाधा विर्निर्मुक्तो धनधान्यसुतान्वित:।
मनुष्यो मत्प्रसादेन भविष्यति न संशय:।।

This mantra struck me to be the most appropriate one for his situation so I asked him to superimpose it digitally in white fonts

I also asked him to put the stove in his west kitchen on a jaisalmer stone. Just these two vastu remedies and within a month he informed me that he was interviewed for another long term contract in this period and has bagged it.

As per Vastu Purush Mandala, Mukhya makes your service ready for sale and so Mukhya was activated.

How to spot poverty consciousness Part 4

The Lure For Free

Long ago there was a comic strip in which the woman of the house goes to a sale to buy a VCR. She comes back with a TV. On enquiry from her husband she says, “The VCR was free along with the TV, since we required a VCR I bought the TV.”

While there are some opportunities for free is good, the lure for free can have unpleasant consequences.

When you buy a trouser and get another free, which is good. You are trying to grab an opportunity which has presented itself. Though I have always believed that the price of the free trouser is included in the price of the paid one and nothing is free. However, in case of clearance sale this may be a profitable proposition. The problem happens when we go on a shopping free and buy stuff we do not require just because something free was available along with it.

The bigger threat is when we look for medical advice, astrological advice and vastu advice for free. The advent of social media has fueled this desire of ours that everything should be available for free. When free we do not look at the credentials of the consultant, their track record but are ready to follow what he suggests for free.

Another reason we want the advice free is because it is intangible and we do not want to pay for the knowledge which the consultant has gathered with his qualifications and experience. This is the reason why most consultants give free advice, work on the fear psychosis of the client and sell them gem stones or yantras. The gullible client is unable to hold the consultant responsible as he did not pay for the advice he only paid for the stuff for which the consultant has delivered the goods so the transaction is over and done with.

This tendency of looking for free consultation comes out of poverty consciousness. When you are not ready to pay for the service of others, you are giving a message to your own subconscious that advice is free and so it is unable to attract paying clients to you in the domain you specialize in. You may be deserving a pay rise in office but your subconscious has been tuned by you to not attract that pay rise because talent, experience, qualifications are all intangibles like to knowledge of the consultant whom you do not want to pay.

So in effect by aspiring for free consultation you are feeding the poverty consciousness and not allowing the prosperity consciousness to attract wealth in your life.

The Power of Trust

In Vrindavan, where Lord Krishna was born, there stayed a shepherdess who used to go to Mathura every day to sell milk and curd. Once a saint visited her village and she went to listen to his sermons. The Saint was telling a story and she got hooked to it. The saint was telling that there is a lot of power in the name of God and just by reciting the same great troubles can be surmounted. Just by reciting His name even a whirlpool can be crossed. If you have to cross a whirlpool in life never leave the name of God.

Next day she again went to sell milk to Mathura. On the way she had to cross the holy river Yamuna. Earlier she used to hire a boat to cross the river. This day she thought if the name of God can help you cross a whirlpool, I can definitely cross this river. Thus she silently recited the name of Lord Krishna and started moving forward. Truly she found herself walking on the river as if she is walking on a smooth road.

She started using this method every day and in her heart she used to thank the saint for sharing this mantra. One day she thought that she should invite the saint for lunch since he has done so much for her. So she goes to his residence in Mathura and invites her. The saint accepts and accompanies her to her village.

On reaching the banks of the river the saint starts calling the boatman. The shepherdess is surprised and she asks him, “Why do we need a boat when we can cross the Yamuna walking on it?”

“What are you saying young lady? How can we walk on Yamuna?”

“O Great man, you were the one who taught me this method. I just recite His name and walk on the river.”

The saint could not believe it so he asks the lady to first walk on Yamuna and he will follow her. She recites the name of God and starts walking. The saint follows but as soon he puts his foot on water he falls down. The shepherdess realizes that the saint has fallen in water. She comes back and holds his hands. With her support he too starts walking on Yamuna. Soon they reach the other side.

The saint falls to her feet and says, “I have been professing the importance of the name of God and to use it as a source of hope but it is you who has truly done that. You are a great soul.”

This story has been in circulation in Hindi on WhatsApp groups. My question to all my readers is “What is the relevance of this in Vastu as a Vatu practitioner and as a Vastu client?” I look forward to your comments below

How to spot Poverty Consciousness Part 3

A friend accompanied me to a famous temple in Indore. After performing the Pooja I donated a small amount in the DaanPeti placed in the Mandir.

Seeing me he said, “You know God does not need your money and if he needs He is not God.”

“Yes I know that He does not need money but he definitely want me to share.”

“If you want to share, why don’t you share with poor?” He argued. I got really annoyed.

“Is that what you do? When did you last donate to poor?” I asked.

He kept quiet and started looking elsewhere.

This is the state of affairs with many people. When it comes to donate in a temple they say it is better
to donate to poor and when it comes to donating to poor they will come up with newer excuses – “It is all a mafia”, ‘why can’t he work?”, ‘Did you see that child in the arm of the woman was sleeping? Why are they always sleeping? You know they are drugged.” These are the responses you get for not sharing their money with poor.

In Christianity there is a concept of tithing where good Christians are encouraged to donate ten percent of their income to the church. The church then uses it for community good. A similar concept exists in Islam. Unfortunately the majority community in India does not practice any such thing. If any religious guru suggests such a thing we all will troll him on social media, main stream media and maybe on the roads too. He will be labelled to be regressive. Why? Just because we want excuses for not giving.

The act of giving is a sure sign of prosperity consciousness. By giving you are sending the message that I have abundant money and I am willing to share. The universe then gives you more such that you can share more.

By making excuses and justifying your “non-sharing” behavior you are actually telling the universe that you are living in scarcity and not having any intention to partake with what you have. My guru says it is better to give food to poor rather than money but give you should.

How to Spot Poverty Consciousness? Part 2

Once you recognize the symptoms of poverty consciousness and realize that you are demonstrating those symptoms it becomes very easy to get rid of them and move towards prosperity consciousness.

Most of the people in this world when they stay in a hotel stuff the toothpaste, lotions, and shampoos in their bags before check out. This does not happen only with people from a particular country but is a global phenomenon. A survey was conducted internationally and hotel owners from Europe and Americas have reported that their guests have robbed them with mattresses, televisions, iron, electric kettles, paintings, etc. I was really surprised when I read it. I mean how guests can take away mattresses without the hotel knowing about it. But believe it or not this is the truth.

Why do people behave this way? The reason is simple, they want to maximize on the tariffs they have paid to the hotel. In their minds this is just value for money or worse still they feel that the hotel is anyways running on huge profits which itself is a crime and robbing them of whatever they can is a way to get back to them for their crimes (profits). Very few people realize that most big hotels operate at wafer thin margins and even if they do earn good profits it is the fruit of the huge investments they have made.

The fact is that this behavior stems out of poverty consciousness. How can someone who does not appreciate other person’s wealth and profit be able to generate the same for oneself?
The other reason is the mindset of scarcity. What if we go to a hotel in future where they do not furnish a soap in the bathrooms? We should stuff this in the bags for such situations.

I know it is a touchy subject but if you display such behavior just recognize it as that of poverty consciousness. This acceptance in itself will move you towards prosperity consciousness.

I invite your views on this article in the comments section of this post.

How to spot poverty consciousness? Part 1

Just the awareness of the behavior which stems out of poverty consciousness is helpful in coming out of it. I have observed and introspected during my daily meditations and have come up with some sure signs of poverty consciousness. When reading them you may find it difficult to accept but if you meditate on it for 10-15 minutes you will understand it.

Observe people buying fruits and vegetables from road side. They must have stopped their sedan to shop but they will haggle with the vendor endlessly to save ten rupees. If you ask them they will say, “पैसे क्या पेड़ पे उगते हैं? (Money does not grow on trees)” or “वाह साहब खून पसीने की कमाई है, ऐसे कैसे लुटा दें (It is our hard earned money. We can’t just blow them away).” Now observe the same people shopping in a mall. Not only they will buy at the quoted price they will also pay taxes on it to be contended that they bought from a branded retail.

Most of the people buy diyas during Diwali from roadside. Small kids are seen selling diyas and well to do people negotiate endlessly for reduction in prices. The vendor here is more worried about the food he will eat in the evening and less on profit and so he sells at whatever price the buyer is willing to pay and the buyer returns to his home contented that he ensured that he is not duped.

Negotiation is not bad, but putting all your energies in negotiations (that is what is called haggling) and making it an ego issue is a sign of poverty consciousness.

My guru says, “कभी जानबूझकर बेवकूफ बन जाओ, फिर देखो समृद्धि कैसे दौड़ कर आपके पास आती है.” Sometimes, be fooled knowingly and see how prosperity rushes towards you.

Prosperity Consciousness is the domain of subconscious

It can get very confusing with so many consciousness and conscious coming in this article so please read it carefully.

As is evident from the word itself consciousness resides in conscious. But we have two parts of the mind – conscious mind and subconscious mind, so where does the consciousness reside? The answer is that it resides in both and that is the cause of complications – loads of them.

There can be four combinations due to the two minds; both conscious and subconscious are filled with same consciousness – prosperity or poverty, the conscious mind is filled with poverty consciousness and the subconscious with prosperity consciousness and vice versa.

When the conscious mind is suffering from poverty consciousness and the subconscious has prosperity consciousness the person will eventually have its conscious mind superseded by the consciousness of the subconscious. When the conscious mind and subconscious are both entrapped in poverty consciousness the person becomes a miser.

Now imagine having a situation where the conscious mind is prosperity conscious and the subconscious is poverty conscious, isn’t it a deadly combination? The person is sure to get into abject poverty. The conscious mind will make him behave like a prosperous person while the subconscious mind will prevent him to increase his income. Such person get entrapped in a lot of personal loans and bad debts and in some cases they have to either run away from their place of residence to avoid debtors or have to declare bankruptcy.

When I say that 90% of the people suffer from poverty consciousness, few people believe it. The problem is that most of the times the person does not know what his subconscious think about prosperity.

In the next posts I will write about the behaviors of poverty consciousness people. Stay tuned.

Prosperity and Poverty Consciousness

When the great leader, Rahul Gandhi said, “Poverty is just a state of mind. It does not mean the scarcity of food, money or material things. If one possesses self-confi
dence, then one can overcome poverty,” nobody understood him. He was actually speaking about different type of poor and everybody understood that he is speaking about the financially poor. He was referring to those who suffer from poverty consciousness. While the population below the poverty line may be around 30%, the population who suffer from poverty consciousness is well over 90%. A person may not be poor but yet suffer from poverty consciousness. Similarly someone may not be rich and yet be endowed with prosperity consciousness.

Sometimes, great leaders say something so profound that it takes a lot of thinking to understand it.

Before delving deeper into the two types of consciousness let us try to distinguish between them. A poor person is someone who lives in scarcity and rich person lives in abundance. Most of us are between these two extremes. Our consciousness decides in which direction we are heading. Poverty
consciousness takes us towards scarcity and prosperity consciousness takes us towards abundance.

Most people, more than 90%, live with poverty consciousness without realizing it. Each day this consciousness is driving them towards scarcity. The good news is that one can easily switch the consciousness from poverty to prosperity.  What is needed is space programming (Vastu) and some amount of discipline to follow some simple meditative practices.

I will be posting more articles on this topic – symptoms of poverty consciousness, prosperity consciousness, how can you change your consciousness with simple exercises.

How to determine the facing of the house?

A lady in Gurgaon called me one day. They were buying a new apartment and she was unsure because she determined that the entrance is south facing while the owner was saying that the entrance is North Facing. She was totally confused.

“Manoj ji, when I enter the house with a compass in hand the compass shows South in front of me. This means that the house is South facing. Correct?”

Before I could say anything she continued, “The owner is telling that I am measuring it wrong and I should stand on the door and face outside while determine the facing of the apartment. Is that correct?”

“The owner is right Madam.” I explained, “You should determine the facing of the house when you are going out from the house and not when you are coming in.”

This is a very common mistake made by people and can make the whole vastu analysis wrong. When Vastu audit is done remotely the consultant is dependent on the client to give him the directions.
Stand with the compass in hand at the main entry of the house and facing outside. See what the direction in front of you is. That is the direction your house faces.

This is illustrated by three diagrams

1.      Figure 1 shows the correct method of measurement
2.      Figure 2 shows the wrong method of measurement
3.      Figure 3 shows the correct method from a different perspective

Hope it brings clarity. If it does not please comment on where there is confusion and I will try to explain it in a better manner.

Destiny Changed?

Vastu Case Study

A friend of mine was extremely worried. His son was not performing well in studies and this led him to one of the most renowned astrologers in India. The astrologer gave him a good news and a bad news. He said, “Your son will achieve the highest qualifications but will never be a topper and always remain an average student.”

Like a normal Indian parent, this sentence made him extremely nervous. “What if he does not get a suitable job because of his average marks? What is the use of a Ph D if his graduate and post graduate marks are average?” such questions kept popping in his mind. He wanted to know if we can do something to change the “destiny” of his son.

My guru has always professed not to get daunted by anything and just follow the process of analysis he has taught.

I said, “We can definitely try? There is no harm in that.”

I studied his house plan, went to his house and saw exactly what was there in various zones which help in excellence in studies. I suggested some change of colors, change of orientation of study table, a painting and a figurine in the house. Few advanced vastu remedies were also installed in his apartment buried under the ground.

His son not only got super marks in the intermediate examinations, he seamlessly got into a reputed engineering college last year in a branch of his choice. I was waiting for his second semester results to write this post.

I am pleased to report to all my readers that he has scored a CGPA of 9.56/10 in first semester and 9.36/10 in second semester.

Can we say that destiny has been changed due to vastu interventions?

Vastu and Paintings

Be careful with the Paintings you hang on the walls

Paintings are one of the most effective means to communicate with the universal consciousness as well with your sub-conscious mind. One needs to be extremely careful when choosing a painting to decorate the walls of your home and office.

A wrong painting can immediately bring miseries in your life. The first thing I suggest you do when you see a painting and spend some time in thinking about the mood it depicts or the effect it has on you. Paintings that denote a colorful mood, drawn in bright colors, those depicting people and animals in joyful moods, performing creative activities, in a playful mood are ideal to be placed in the house.

Paintings that depict darkness, greyness, loneliness, ferociousness, haziness, storm, war, mysticism, fights, fogginess, sad and somber moods should be avoided.

A friend of mine placed painting of a lone man travelling in a horse-cart in the drawing room. Immediately thereafter his whole family started feeling extremely tired and deprived of energy. They were feeling pains in the limbs, trembling of hands and severe back ache.

Few weeks later they fortunately correlated that this has happened since the painting was placed. When they removed the painting, to their delight every problem disappeared like magic.

Vastu Case Study || North East Toilet

A close friend of mine who is also a vastu consultant, called me one day.

“Boss, I am moving into a flat in Nashik. There was a toilet in North east which the owner has now removed on my request. Will it affect me?”

“Yes it will affect you because you know there was a toilet there. Also there are toilets above and below your flat at the same place.”

“I have got it cleaned and repainted. Will it still effect?”

“I’ll ask you a question. You are sitting in a restaurant and have ordered a tea. You see the waiter come towards you. Suddenly he turns the other side, removes something from the tea and throws it on the ground. You see that it is a fly which he has removed. He then comes to you smiling and puts the cup of tea on the table. What will you do? Will you drink the tea?”

“Of course not.”

“There you are.” I said.

“I understood. I will try to get out of this deal.”

Few months later he met me in Delhi. I asked him about this case.

“Boss. The landlord was not ready to return the advance so I am staying in the same flat.”

“Is there a problem?”

“There are lot of problems. Since I moved, there is lot of confusion. I am not able to take decisions and what worries is that I have become very forgetful.”

Vastu defects in North East toilet are one of the most difficult ones to correct.

Vastu and Feng Shui || A Brief Comparison

I have been a practitioner of FengShui and Vastu for the last sixteen years and have always believed that Feng Shui is the Chinese form of Vastu. I read somewhere that in ancient times the Chinese scholars who studies in Nalanda and Takshshila University took the knowledge of Vastu from India and adapted it as per Chinese traditions and culture.

However, the similarity ends there. While Feng Shui has been commercialized to the extent that it has spread far and wide Vastu has remained confined to India and has not moved along with the times. Feng Shui  now provided employment to millions of people across the world in the form of teachers, consultants, artisans, manufacturers, et al. This has primarily happened because the masters of feng shui worked on its simplification and accessibility. They also worked on making it contemporary.

On the other hand, vastu, like many other body of Indian knowledge was kept a secret and not allowed to grow due to inflexibility of those who were supposed to evolve the knowledge and make it accessible to common men.

Most Vastu experts still believe in certain rigid rules which they picked up from ancient texts or incomplete translations of the texts and keep on applying them even when they are made irrelevant due to the change in architecture of Indian buildings. The need was to reinterpret these rules as per the change in architecture. Furthermore, little efforts were made to spread the knowledge beyond India or make remedies which can be used to correct vastu defects. You would be surprised to know that a gentleman in Germany has patented Vastu while we were caught napping.

Fortunately in recent times few Indian experts have taken upon the mettle to reinterpret this
knowledge, perform scientific study, spread this knowledge and make it accessible to the masses. One of them is my guru – Dr. Khushdeep Bansal who has instilled the confidence and knowledge to many of us such that Vastu becomes accessible and affordable.

It is on his motivation that I write these articles.
