Seven Traits of great Vastu Experts

"What makes a Vastu Expert great?", "How should one identify a great Vastu Expert to analyze his house, office, factory, or shop?"

I was meditating on these questions for a long time and this article is a summation of my thoughts after observing my guru, Dr. Khushdeep Bansal during my several interactions with him.

The result of this churning is presented here as the 7 traits of a great Vastu Expert:

Listening

"When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen." - Ernest Hemingway

The Vastu expert must listen with full attention to his client, the words he uses when describing his problems, and the sequencing of sentences speak a lot about the associated areas of his house which are imbalanced. Unless the Vastu Expert is able to get to the root cause to the problems faced by the client he will not be able to cure them.

Transparency

"There is no persuasiveness more effectual than the transparency of a single heart, of a sincere life." - Joseph Barber

A Vastu expert must be transparent with his client; in sharing his observations, reasons for his problems (Vastu defects), solutions to his problems, time frame when results can be expected, and what results can be expected.

 He should also explain the basic principles and rationale of Vastu to his client in a clear and easy to understand language.

 

Willingness to Share

The inherent willingness to share his knowledge and benefit the society at large is what makes a Vastu expert great.

Passion

The single most factor which distinguishes a great Vastu Expert from others is the passion towards this science. It is this passion which drives the Vastu expert to come up with solutions which benefit the client, makes him result-oriented

Authentic

"The aim of every authentic artist is not to conform to the history of art, but to release himself from it in order to replace it with his own history." - Harold Rosenberg

The not so great Vastu experts resort to create and spread myths, misconceptions and superstitions related to Vastu. An authentic Vastu practitioner does not speak anything which is not rationale. He will focus on logic and intuition and even when he is speaking with an intuition he will explain the rationale for it to his client.

Intuition

"Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the answer." - Robert Graves

In a sense intuition is the ability to see beyond the obvious. When a vastu expert can see the vastu defects hidden behind the closed door of almirahs or when he can state the imbalances present in the zone without visiting your office, you know he is doing it out of intuition. It is this ability to visualize which makes a Vastu expert great.

Experience:
